Rascal Charters Maui Sport Fishing FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Rascal fishing trip a private charter?

Yes. The charter price covers the entire boat for a group of up to six passengers, rather than selling individual seats. This allows families and private groups to fish together with the attention of the captain and crew.

Maui-Lanai One-Way Ferry FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book separate ferry tickets for the trip to Lanai and the return to Maui?

Yes. This page sells a one-way ferry ticket, so travelers planning a roundtrip visit must reserve a separate ticket for each direction. Review the Maui and Lanai departure schedules carefully to leave enough time for your planned activities on Lanai.

How early should passengers arrive for the Maui-Lanai ferry?

Passengers must check in at the ferry booth 45 minutes before departure. Boarding closes 10 minutes before the scheduled sailing time, so allow additional time for traffic, harbor parking and transporting luggage to the check-in area.

How much luggage can each passenger bring aboard the ferry?

Each ticketed passenger may bring two regular-size suitcases and one small carry-on item, with golf bags counted toward that allowance. Extra baggage is accepted only at the captain's discretion and may require an additional freight or excess-baggage charge.
