Departs from Kahului Heliport, Hangar #110 View Map
Parking at Kahului Heliport is $4 per hour.
From Lahaina/Kaanapali/Kapalua area (allow 60-70 minutes drive time): Take Hwy 30 to Hwy. 380. Stay straight as 380 turns in to Airport Access Road. Stay in right hand lane and turn right on Hwy 36 Hana Hwy. Drive 2 miles to Hwy 37 (Haleakala Hwy). Turn left and drive straight into Heliport. Air Maui is the last hangar.
From Kihei/Wailea area (allow 30-45 minutes drive time): Take Hwy 31 to Hwy 311 (Mokulele hwy.) Turn right on Ho'okele St. Drive for about 2 miles and turn right on to Hwy 36 (Hana Hwy). Drive about a mile and turn left on Hwy 37 (Haleakala Hwy). Drive 2 blocks. The heliport is straight ahead. Air Maui is the last hangar.
Restrictions
Regular Seat: Weight limit per passenger is 229 pounds (103 kg).
Front Seat: Both front seats must be purchased together. The weight limit for the two front seats is 380 pounds (172 kg) per couple.
Comfort Seat Surcharge: A comfort seat surcharge applies for one passenger weighing 230 pounds (104 kg) or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 400 pounds (181 kg) or more, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 190 pounds (86 kg) per person or more. A comfort seat surcharge also applies for any passenger over 250 pounds (113 kg) no matter what the combined weight is.
All guests are discreetly weighed at check-in. Please ensure accurate weights are provided when booking. For guests exceeding the weight limit an additional seat must be purchased. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. In cases where there is a big weight discrepancy, there is a chance that someone may need to stay behind with no refund on seat.
Passengers must be at least 10 years of age. An adult must accompany children 10-17 years old.
Only your cell phone is allowed on board. No other camera device is allowed! Air Maui will provide a lanyard for passengers' cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight.
No hats, bags or any loose items are allowed.
Passengers must wear closed-toed shoes. No flip-flops or sandals. Long hair must be tied up at all times. Air Maui will provide each passenger a flight suit that will be required for all passengers to wear during flight.

What should I wear on the Doors Off Molokai helicopter tour?

Can I bring a camera on the doors-off flight?
Only a cell phone may be brought aboard for taking photos and videos. Separate cameras and other devices are not allowed, and Air Maui provides a lanyard that must remain secured around the passenger’s neck during the entire flight.
