West Maui & Molokai Helicopter Tour FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Molokai’s north shore especially impressive from the air?

Molokai’s north shore is lined with immense sea cliffs, remote valleys and waterfalls that descend toward an undeveloped coastline. Much of this terrain cannot be reached by road, making a helicopter flight one of the few ways to appreciate its scale and rugged beauty.

Does the helicopter land on Molokai during this tour?

No. This is a continuous sightseeing flight rather than a landing tour. The helicopter crosses the Pailolo Channel, explores the scenery of West Maui and Molokai from the air, and then returns to the heliport without a ground stop.

How are seats assigned aboard the helicopter?

Seats are assigned by the operator according to each passenger’s weight and the balance requirements of the aircraft. Because safe weight distribution takes priority, specific seats cannot normally be guaranteed unless an eligible seating upgrade is offered and confirmed.
