🚙 Expeditions - 4 X 4 Trekker Tour

If you want to explore and learn about the beautiful island of Lanai but would rather be driven than drive, Expeditions 4x4 Trekker guided tours are for you! Your adventure starts when you board the Expeditions passenger ferry to Lanai at Ma'alaea Harbor. During your 75-minute voyage you will enjoy open ocean views of Maui, Molokai, Molokini, Kahoolawe and Lanai. Upon arrival you will be met at Manele Harbor by your tour guide and taken to the shop in Lanai City. After picking up gear the real adventure begins!

Your informative guide knows the terrain, the flora and fauna, the stories and legends - and shares them with you during the tour. All tour vehicles are designed for your comfort and safety. The tour can be as active or relaxing as you want it to be. Generally you will travel in an air-conditioned, roomy 4 wheel drive vehicle. You will experience an ironwood forest, where the wind is the only voice you will hear, on your way to the Gardens of the Gods - a breathtaking, natural red rock formation. Other highlights MAY include Shipwreck Beach, ancient petroglyphs and the Munro Trail, featuring breathtaking views of the islands of Maui and Molokai.

After the guided tour of Lanai, your tour guide will drop you off at Manele Harbor. You can choose to take the ferry back to Maui at either 1:00 pm or at 5:30 pm. Manele Harbor is also within walking distance of the Four Seasons Resort Lanai if you would like to do some more sightseeing around this area after your guided tour.

    Ma'alaea Harbor ferry departure:
    6:30 am (check in at 5:45 am)

    Ferry return times from Lanai:
    1:00 pm (check in at 12:15 pm)
    5:30 pm (check in at 4:45 pm)

    You can choose your preferred return time when making your reservation.

    Passengers must check in 45 minutes prior to departure time. BOARDING CLOSES 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

    You must pick up your tickets from the Expeditions ferry booth.
    When you arrive on Lanai, look for your tour guide holding a sign with your last name.

  • Requirements:

    TOUR MUST BE BOOKED AT LEAST TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE. PLEASE CALL IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK FOR THE NEXT CALENDAR DAY.
