Pacific Whale Foundation - Molokini & Turtle Adventure
This small-group ocean safari offers the rare opportunity to experience a drift snorkel on the backside of Molokini crater or in the vast open blue sea, with depths reaching up to 300 feet. Dive into an unforgettable underwater experience like no other!
The exact snorkel site changes daily based on ocean conditions to ensure that we are snorkeling at the best sites off Maui's south shore.
In addition to Molokini we may visit the most recent lava flows off Maui of the Ahihi-Kinau Reserve or other top snorkel sites. This snorkel cruise gives you the best opportunity to see Hawaiian green sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, rays and seasonally, humpback whales.
With a maximum of 30 guests, this tour offers a more personal experience aboard a smaller vessel that can reach areas larger boats often cannot. Continental breakfast, BBQ lunch, and refreshments are included.

Check-in at 7:00 am at the Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Store at the Maui Harbor Shops, which shares a parking lot with Maui Ocean Center, located at 192 Maalaea Rd, Wailuku (GPS address). View Map
Parking is paid throughout the harbor. Please review signage upon arrival.

Restrictions
As an intermediate to advanced snorkel adventure, this trip is not recommended for non-swimmers, pregnant women, people with heart conditions or anyone with neck, back or knee problems.
Use of any full-face snorkel masks are not allowed on Pacific Whale Foundation activities due to safety concerns.
REEF-SAFE SUNSCREEN GUIDELINES: This tour requires you to use reef-safe sunscreen in accordance with the statewide ban on sunscreens that harm the reefs. Please read the ingredients list of your sunscreen as "reef-safe" is not a regulated term and sunscreens listed as such can have the following banned ingredients in them: oxybenzone, octinoxate, avobenzone, avobenzine, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Reef-Safe sunscreen can also be found in local stores or be purchased on board (4oz for $17, price is subject to change).
Wheelchairs: This vessel is NOT wheelchair accessible. Guests who can board (with or without assistance from someone in their group) may attend, but there is only outside seating and nowhere to store a wheelchair on board.
Our vessels are CASHLESS for purchases. Only credit, debit or digital payment methods with a QR code will be accepted for onboard purchases. Cash will graciously be accepted for gratuities only.
