It features a roomy and comfortable cabin, air-conditioning, leather seats, digital stereo music and noise reducing headsets. It is the ideal helicopter for sightseeing. Departs from Kahului Heliport, Hangar #110 View Map
Parking at Kahului Heliport is $4 per hour.
From Lahaina/Kaanapali/Kapalua area (allow 60-70 minutes drive time): Take Hwy 30 to Hwy. 380. Stay straight as 380 turns in to Airport Access Road. Stay in right hand lane and turn right on Hwy 36 Hana Hwy. Drive 2 miles to Hwy 37 (Haleakala Hwy). Turn left and drive straight into Heliport. Air Maui is the last hangar.
From Kihei/Wailea area (allow 30-45 minutes drive time): Take Hwy 31 to Hwy 311 (Mokulele hwy.) Turn right on Ho'okele St. Drive for about 2 miles and turn right on to Hwy 36 (Hana Hwy). Drive about a mile and turn left on Hwy 37 (Haleakala Hwy). Drive 2 blocks. The heliport is straight ahead. Air Maui is the last hangar.
Restrictions
Regular Seat: Weight limit per passenger is 239 pounds (108 kg).
Front Seat: Both front seats must be purchased together. The weight limit for the two front seats is 380 pounds (172 kg) per couple.
Comfort Seat Surcharge: A comfort seat surcharge applies for one passenger weighing 240 pounds (108 kg) or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 420 pounds (190 kg) or more, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200 pounds (90 kg) per person or more.
All guests are discreetly weighed at check-in. Please ensure accurate weights are provided when booking. For guests exceeding the weight limit an additional seat must be purchased. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. In cases where there is a big weight discrepancy, there is a chance that someone may need to stay behind with no refund on seat.

Why is a helicopter tour one of the best ways to see Molokai’s north shore?
Molokai’s remote north shore has towering sea cliffs, deep valleys and waterfalls that are difficult or impossible to reach by road. Flying across the Pailolo Channel provides an aerial view of this largely inaccessible coastline while also including the valleys and rainforests of the West Maui Mountains.
Can the helicopter flight path change because of the weather?
Yes. Cloud cover, wind and visibility can affect helicopter sightseeing routes, particularly around mountain valleys and Molokai’s sea cliffs. The pilot may adjust the route or the order of the landmarks to provide the safest and best available experience, so every listed sight cannot be guaranteed on every flight.
Can infants join the West Maui and Molokai helicopter tour?
Children 23 months and younger may fly without purchasing a separate seat, but they must remain on an adult’s lap throughout the flight. The child’s accurate weight must be provided when booking because all passenger weights are used to determine safe helicopter seating and balance.
