Hike Maui - Waterfall & Rainforest Hiking Adventure
This is Hike Maui’s most popular tour! It's a fun guided hike that includes the chance to swim under tropical waterfalls. Hike 2.5 miles through a lush rainforest along the famous Road to Hana. This valley is unique for having several waterfalls within a short distance of each other. Then swim and jump (optional) into large waterfall pools. You can climb up alongside the falls to leap 10-15 feet off rock ledges!

Where & When
Meet at 9:30 am at Kahului Park & Ride (View Map). The Park & Ride meeting location is along a large concrete wall with a single row of parking facing Hwy 380 west of Hwy 311.
Hotel Roundtrip Transportation Roundtrip transportation between the meeting location and south or west side hotels is available for an additional fee. If you select roundtrip transportation, pick-up from your hotel is around 8:00-8:30 am. The exact pick-up time will be emailed with your confirmation. Please note: Roundtrip transportation is not available from properties north of the Royal Lahaina Resort.
Private tours include roundtrip hotel transfers.

Cancellation policy:
Private tours are subject to a 72-hour cancellation policy, except during the holiday period of December 20 through January 5, which carries a one-week cancellation period. Our standard 48-hour cancellation policy applies to non-private tours.

Do I have to swim or jump from the waterfall ledges?
No. Swimming in the waterfall pools and jumping from the 10- to 15-foot rock ledges are optional. Guests can still enjoy the guided rainforest hike, streams and waterfall views without participating in those activities.
What hiking equipment is provided for the tour?
The tour includes a backpack, rain gear and bug repellent, along with lunch, snacks and water. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for changing rainforest conditions and footwear that can handle wet, uneven and potentially muddy trails.
Is hotel transportation included with the Waterfall and Rainforest Hiking Adventure?
Standard bookings meet at the Kahului Park & Ride, while roundtrip transportation from eligible South Maui and West Maui hotels may be added for an additional fee. Private-tour bookings include roundtrip hotel transportation, but transfers are not available from properties north of the Royal Lahaina Resort.
