Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between General and VIP seating at the Royal Lahaina Luau?
General admission includes a shell lei greeting, buffet dinner, open bar and the full luau show, with tables assigned according to booking date. VIP guests sit in the first four forward-facing rows, receive upgraded lei greetings, begin dinner service first and have complimentary premium drinks included.
Can the Royal Lahaina Luau accommodate vegan or gluten-free guests?
Yes. Several buffet selections are vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, and a tofu vegetable stir-fry entrée can be prepared upon request. The meal request must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance and should specify whether it is for an adult or child.
Do young children need their own ticket and seat?
Children age 5 and younger receive their own seat and plate with standard seating and require the applicable child ticket. Lap children and free-child admission are not available with VIP seating, so every child joining adults in the VIP section must also have a VIP ticket.
