Does the Ultimate Dolphin Watch include snorkeling or swimming?
No. This tour is dedicated entirely to dolphin watching, and guests remain aboard the vessel throughout the three-hour cruise. It is a good choice for travelers who want to observe marine life without entering the water.
What happens if no dolphins are seen during the cruise?
Dolphin sightings are guaranteed. If no dolphins are spotted, guests may join another eligible Dolphin Watch cruise free of charge within one year, subject to the operator’s availability and return-trip terms.
Can guests hear dolphins during the Ultimate Dolphin Watch?
When conditions allow, underwater hydrophones are used to transmit dolphin sounds in real time. Certified marine naturalists also explain the behavior, habitats and distinguishing features of the dolphin species found in Maui’s surrounding waters.
